Athletics

Athletics CCA introduce pupils to the fun and fundamentals of track and field events such as runnning, jumping and throwing. Most of the events are individual but a few, like relay events, involve a team. The training sessions develop both the upper body and lower body movements, such as multiple jumps in succession, land parachutes and hurdles. There is great emphasis done on body muscles to increase body flexibility and reactivity, which are important for children at the growing stage. The CCA also provide pupils with the opportunities to participate in competitions. Through competition ,we hope that our athletes acquire attributes such as grit, determination, resilience and teamwork.
