P1 Pandai Bercerita

‘Pandai Bercerita’ is an exposure programme for students to learn the basic art form of storytelling. Storytelling with props is a fun way to share stories with others. It builds confidence and provides students with a safe environment to experiment with self-expressions by adapting fables and retelling them in a fun and engaging way.

Application of Cub in Comprehension

CUB guides students to read and understand comprehension passage and answer comprehension questions. Students learn to analyse the questions by breaking it down into smaller parts to make it easier to comprehend and answer.

Reading Programme

The Reading Programme aims to develop a good reading habit that enables students to read independently and with pleasure. Inculcating the habit of reading widely will lead to stronger language skills and enriching students’ vocabulary. Students showcase their stories through various ways like storytelling, book reviews and drawings which allows them to demonstrate their understanding according to their interests or preferred mode.

MTL Fortnight

The much-anticipated event of the year is carried out to immerse students in the Malay culture. Students are exposed to authentic cultural opportunities through interactive and experiential learning, at the same time promoting the use of Mother Tongue language.
